EVACUATION OF KABUL
The 2021 Kabul airlift was a large-scale evacuation operation conducted by the United States and its allies following the Taliban's rapid takeover of Afghanistan in August 2021 and during the final stages of the U.S. and NATO troop withdrawal. I was there as one of the only photographers at the time. this pictures got nominated to the biggest photocontest in sweden, "årets bild".
